In one of the stories she tells, Yeye Tomi teaches them the importance of obedience and shares a cautionary tale about a disobedient girl named Edufe who turns into a monkey after disobeying her parents’ warnings. Yeye Tomi also imparts valuable life lessons, such as building self-esteem and believing in oneself, leaving the children with a sense of warmth and wisdom as they bid her goodnight.

About the Author

Mofoluwaso Ibigbami, a graduate of English Language from the prestigious Covenant University, Nigeria, has about 15 years of professional experience across several sectors, including banking, the NGO sector, and very recently, the entrepreneurial space. The diversity of her experience makes her have an unwavering commitment to growth and an unyielding drive for excellence. Her life is laced with values and morals drawn from her childhood with several stories told to her and her siblings by her mother.
This is what she hopes to pass on to children of the next generation through this debut work.
